The Strater Hotel is one of Durango's most famous historic buildings in the heart of downtown. While staying at the Strater Hotel your only a 5 minute drive to Animas Air Park and Durango Flight Tours. We can even fly past the hotel giving you a one-of-a-kind view of history. The Strater Hotel features 88 Unique Guest Rooms, a Wild West themed saloon, a Craft Cocktail Lounge, a Steak & Seafood fine dining restaurant and year-round live entertainment for all to enjoy, and is one of our favorite places to enjoy a meal, drinks and live music with friends and family. 

Animas City Theater is our favorite place to see a concert in Durango. Catch touring and local acts all throughout the month, and enjoy a weekly open mic on Thursday night that showcases all the talent in Durango. There's nothing like a day on vacation with a Durango Flight Tour followed by a concert at the Animas City Theater. High Country Hustle is playing on New Year's Eve this year. This show will sell out fast because they're such an awesome band. Be sure to catch a show or open mic night at Animas City Theater to enjoy the best that Durango nightlife has to offer.

Main Avenue in Downtown Durango features shopping, dining, entertainment and more. There are an incredible amount of locally owned restaurants and shops in downtown Durango. When visiting Durango be sure to walk Main Avenue in downtown Durango to take in all the sights and sound that make our town seem like a Hallmark movie. 

Bear's Ranch is the best place to experience a horse-drawn sleigh ride in Durango this winter. You will be comfortable and warm with blankets and hot chocolate as you explore the incredible wilderness that makes Durango such a special place to visit. The staff at Bear's Ranch is highly trained, qualified, friendly and safe. This is a great adventure for the family or couples.

The Garage is one of downtown Durango's hidden gems with the largest selection of pool tables, arcade games and pinball machines. During the day The Garage is family friendly. In the evening it's a great place for a drink with friends over a game of pool. This is another one of our favorite spots to visit after flying above Durango. 

Chapman Hill is a favorite of Durango locals. With tons of upgrades for the new season, Chapman Hill is a must see this winter. Drop in for open ice skating, watch a hockey game, hit the ski and snowboard park, or ride the lift to the top of the hill with 500 vertical feet of terrain. Chapman Hill is open in the evening so you can ski, snowboard or ice skate locally after a Durango Flight Tour.

11th Street Station is Durango's most unique and historic food collective featuring Ernie's Bar and Cafe Amor, as well as an assortment of food trucks with something for everyone. Ernie's Bar is currently featuring special hot holiday drinks. This is one of our favorite places to hang out after a flight. While 11th Street Station is a summertime favorite, there are more than 100 indoor, covered, heated seats.
